This prayer is an example of how I pray. May I suggest that you pray it through the first time and then use it as an impetus for your own prayers as the Lord leads you. It is meant to give you an example of how to pray a protective covering over yourselves and family.

Holy Trinity, Three in One and One in Three, I come before the Throne, before the mercy seat, this day based on the covenant I have through your son Jesus, who won victory over sin and died and rose again for my salvation.

 
Papa, I love you, I praise you, and I worship you.  I thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to empower me with your authority, to lead me, guide me and teach me how to pray. Thank you for leading me into fullness of life.

 
Lord Jesus Christ, I place myself at the foot of your cross and ask you to cover me with your most precious blood. Cleanse me with your blood that flowed from your most holy wounds. I ask you to surround me, Lord Jesus, with your holy presence.

"I bind myself today to the strong name of the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I bind to me forever, by the power of faith, Christ's incarnation; His baptism in the river Jordan; His death on the cross for my salvation; His resurrection from the spiced tomb; His ascension into heaven; His coming again at the day of judgment.

 
I bind myself today to the power of God to hold and lead me; His eye to watch over me; His might to keep me; The wisdom of my God to teach me; His hand to guide me; His shield to ward off the enemy; The word of God to give me speech; His heavenly host to be my guard, against all demon snares of sin and natural lusts that war within; hostile men that mar my course; in every place and in all hours; against all fierce hostility.

 
I bind to me today these holy powers against all Satan's spells and wiles; against all false words of heresy; against all knowledge that defiles; against the heart's idolatry; Against all wizards evil crafts; against all assignments of death; and poisonous shafts (arrows). Protect me, Christ until your returning.

Heavenly Father, by the power of your Holy Spirit, reveal to me any people that I need to forgive and any areas of un-confessed sin. Reveal aspects of my life that are not pleasing to you. Reveal all ways that I have given or could give Satan a foothold in my life. Father, I ask you to cleanse me of these sins.

 
[Take the time to wait on the Lord and listen to what he speaks to you about these sins. Confess all sins to him at this time. Thank you Lord for revealing these things to me. Thank you for your forgiveness and your love for me.]

 
Heavenly Father, I ask that you cleanse me and my family line of anything that brings defilement into my life and the life of my extended family. I come before you and I ask for forgiveness for myself, my brothers and sisters, my mother, all my family line, relatives and ancestors, for any calling upon powers that set themselves up in opposition to you and your word. For anyway that they/we did not bring honor to you Lord Jesus Christ.

 
In the name and on the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ I take authority over all demonic beings, curses, hexes, projections and assignments coming against me or my family line. In Jesus' name I break and dissolve any and all curses, hexes, spells, snares, traps, lies, obstacles, deceptions, diversions, spiritual influences, evil wishes, evil desires, hereditary seals, known and unknown, and every dysfunction and disease from any source including my own mistakes and sins.

 
In Jesus' name, I sever the transmission of any and all satanic vows, pacts, spiritual bonds, soul ties and satanic works. In Jesus' name I break and dissolve any and all links and effects of links with; astrologers; bohmos; channelers; charters; clairvoyants; crystal healers; crystals; fortune tellers; mediums; the New Age Movement; occult seers; palms, tea leaf, or tarot card readers; psychics; santeros; satanic cults; spirit guides; witches; witchdoctors; and Voodoo. In Jesus' name, I dissolve all effects of participation in séances; divinations; ouija boards; horoscopes; occult games of all sorts; and any form of worship which does not offer true honor to our Lord Jesus Christ.

 
In the name and on the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ I bind all demonic spirits that have attached themselves to me, and all assignments that have come against me, my family line and all sources of supply into my household or ministries and command you to leave me and my family line now and go to the dry places in Jesus' name without manifestation or any backlash or retaliation against me or anything related to me or my family.

 
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bind all satanic spirits of the air, water, ground, underground, and netherworld that are coming against me or my family line. I further bind, in the name of Jesus Christ, any and all emissaries of the satanic headquarters, coming against me and my family line and command you to leave now and go to the dry places. I claim the precious blood of Jesus Christ on the air, atmosphere, water, ground and its fruit, the underground and the netherworld around me and all of my family members.

 
Lord Jesus, I ask that you fill me with charity; faith; gentleness; hope; humility; joy; kindness; your light; love; mercy; modesty; patience; peace; purity; security; serenity; tranquility; trust; truth; understanding and wisdom. Help me to walk in your light and truth, illuminated by your Holy Spirit so that I can praise and honor you. You, Lord Jesus are the way the truth and the life (John 14:6). You have come that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

 
Loving Father, I surrender to you today with all of my heart, soul and mind.  Please come into my heart in a greater way. Go into all of the secret places of my heart and cleanse me from all impurity. I believe in you, receive you, and confess that you are my personal Savior. I surrender to you all that I am and all that I hope to be. I release to you all sources of supply, my occupation, relationships, time management, successes and failures. I surrender to you all of my promises and the promises that I have failed to keep. I surrender my emotions, my fears, and my sexuality. I belong wholly to you.

 
Come Holy Spirit and baptize me afresh with the holy fire of God. Come and fill me now with living water. I want to fulfill all of the Lord's purposes for my life. Sanctify me and bring me into my destiny in Jesus Christ.

 
At this time bring any personal petitions before the Lord. Listen to the Lord and see what he is telling you to pray for. Prayer is two-way communication. Loose, declare, and proclaim what our Lord tells you to release into the heavens. Call forth your provision in the name of Jesus. Use the word of God as your sword. Battle with the word of God it is your offensive weapon.

 
Thank you Father for drawing me to prayer and giving me a hunger and thirst for you. Thank you for loving me, forgiving and cleansing me. Thank you for sending your precious Holy Spirit to teach, guide, comfort and counsel me. Thank you for a fresh infilling of your Holy Spirit today and a release of the gifts of your Spirit. Lord, let your light shine in me and through me today.
